Walk-in wardrobe inspiration
Perhaps the ultimate luxury for modern living, a carefully curated walk-in wardrobe can become a coveted space in the home.
Considered layouts place clothes storage at the centre of the room’s design, maximising all available joinery to store and display clothes and shoes. In spacious rooms, a freestanding dressing room island adds a focal point to walk-in wardrobes, offering additional space to store beloved items from bags to jewellery.
Whilst the primary function of a walk-in wardrobe will be practicality, the versatility of a walk-in wardrobe offers unlimited design opportunities to add a touch of luxury to daily routines.
This Scandinavian-inspired design by Hungarian design firm, Decoreyes, layers organic materials including fluted oak panels with glazed cabinetry and soft arches to create a space that is not only functional but chic and refined. The matt black cabinet knobs add a contemporary, understated element to the design, perfectly providing contrast against the oak cabinetry.

Freestanding or wall-mounted, it creates a dedicated space for getting ready in the morning or evening rituals, creating a calm and quietly luxurious space. The perfect way to start or end your day.
Here a panelled dressing table mirror can make everyday experiences a touch more indulgent, providing the perfect place to apply makeup or dry hair, whilst also anchoring the overall design of the vanity.

Wardrobe door hardware
Wardrobe door hardware
When deciding on hardware for your wardrobe doors or drawers, there are a few things to consider.
The cabinet hardware is the main touchpoint between you and your cabinetry, so it’s important that the pieces you choose not only look beautiful, but are also functional and fit for the demands of your everyday routines.
At Armac Martin, we craft our original designs from the finest solid brass and solid bronze in the heart of England using skills passed down over our 97 year heritage to create cabinet pull handles, knobs and T-bars that are designed for longevity and luxury.
With 20 finishes to choose from, finding the right finish for your interior can add maximum impact and we recommend ordering sample finish chips if you are unsure.
There is no rule regarding whether you should choose a cabinet handle over a knob or t-bar, it is guided by personal preference and desired aesthetic although scale and proportion should be considered. If using a knob, consideration should be given to the size and projection of the piece to ensure it can easily open and close the doors.

Cabinet handles and appliance pulls are widely used for all types of wardrobe doors and dressing room drawers. Naturally, handles showcase more brass than knobs, making them a more impactful choice.
